Partners Family Resource Centers
Kim Shureen and Ellen Sommers co-teach a conversation class through Partners that meets at the Methodist Church in Grass Valley on Tuesdays at 10:45am.
Group size may be 4-8 people (all women when I visited) and most are beginners.
Partners, operated by the Nevada County Office of Education, offers many outreach services (Rocio and Angelly) to help Latino families connect to community resources.

Community Connection Center
Taking over the building formerly used by Partners Family Resources next to GV Charter School, the center serves families within the Grass Valley School District. Needed repairs caused closure of the center but it is again open and has a new webpage on the District site. Hopefully a schedule of classes (like English conversation)will be available soon.
